Brock Bertling started his musical journey at the age of 14 picking melodies out by ear and playing them on the piano. Born and raised in Noblesville, Indiana and later moving to Goreville, Illinois where he started playing piano at church and doing impersonations at nursing homes he began to get an ear for music with no music training. His inspirations include: Sir. Elton John, Billy Joel, Liberace, The Beatles, and many others. His music career has taken him to many places including being a scheduled pianist at malls in Indianapolis, composing for school functions, and performing at concerts. His most recent achievements include performing at the Beverly Hills Hotel, playing for crowds in the Hamptons of Long Island New York and New York City, and winning a tri-state talent competition held at Harrah's in Metropolis to audition for Americas Got Talent. He has recently taken up music writing and plans on debuting his own original piano and vocal album in late 2009. Along with his music his showmanship includes a unique style of dress and a charismatic personality to match. Brock is always happy to take some time to get to know the guests who come to enjoy the great atmosphere and food for which the Hideout is known. Be prepared for a good time when he hits the intro chords of some of your favorites and a sampling of his own musical creations.
